Every piece is made to order. Nothing on this site is picked off a shelf — it is poured, cured and finished after you have placed your order, which is why the timelines and the cancellation terms below read the way they do.

There is no checkout. You send us the piece and your details on WhatsApp, we confirm the final price, and the order exists from the moment you approve the proof and pay the advance. Prices shown on the site are indicative until we have confirmed yours in writing on WhatsApp.

All prices are in Indian Rupees. A quote for custom work holds for 7 days — resin, pigment and gold leaf are bought in, and their cost moves. Sizes, finishes and add-ons beyond the ones listed are quoted separately.

A 50% advance once you approve the proof, and the remaining 50% before dispatch. The advance covers materials, which are cut and mixed for your piece and cannot be re-used. We accept UPI and bank transfer; details come over WhatsApp. Work begins when the advance is received, not when the order is discussed.

Before pouring we send you a digital proof showing the layout, spelling, dates, colours and size. Changes at that stage are free and unlimited. Once you approve it, the proof is the specification — a spelling or a date you approved cannot be corrected afterwards without remaking the piece, which is charged as a new order.

Resin is poured by hand. Swirls never repeat, a stray bubble or two is normal, and colour can shift very slightly between batches. Your piece will match the proof in design, size and colour family, but it will not be a pixel-identical copy of the photograph — that is the nature of the work, not a defect. Screens differ too, and pearl, metallic and translucent finishes photograph brighter than they look in the hand. If an exact shade matters, ask us before you approve the proof and we will send a photograph of the mixed pigment in daylight.

Made to order in 10–15 days, counted from the day you approve the proof — not the day you enquire. Curing cannot be rushed without ruining the piece. Large work and anything with preserved flowers sits at the longer end, and during Diwali, Rakhi and wedding season the queue is longer. Dates we give are honest estimates, not guarantees.

Free PAN India delivery, with a tracking number sent the day your parcel leaves the studio. Once it is with the courier, their transit times are outside our control. Please give a complete address and a reachable phone number — re-dispatch after a failed delivery or a wrong address is charged at actual courier cost.

We replace it free. Send us photographs of the piece and the outer packaging within 48 hours of delivery and we start the replacement the same day. Please open the parcel and check the piece as soon as it reaches you — claims after 48 hours cannot be put to the courier, and beyond that window we cannot replace free of charge.

Cancel any time before you approve the proof and the advance is refunded in full. After approval, materials are cut and pouring has begun, so the advance is not refundable. Personalised pieces — anything carrying a name, a photograph or a date — cannot be returned or exchanged, because they cannot be sold to anybody else. Damage in transit is the exception above.

Keep resin out of direct sunlight and away from heat: prolonged sun will yellow any resin, and a hot surface can soften it. Clean with a dry or barely damp cloth, never a solvent. Our pieces are decorative — they are not food-safe, not heat-proof, and not dishwasher-safe unless we have told you otherwise in writing. Small pieces and loose parts are not toys and are unsuitable for children under three.

When you send us a photograph to set into a piece, you confirm you have the right to use it; we use it only for your order and delete it afterwards on request. We may photograph finished work for our own catalogue and Instagram — tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not. Designs, product photographs and text on this site belong to Rachana Art Gallery and may not be copied for resale.

Quoted individually. Larger runs need longer timelines and may carry a different advance, agreed in writing before work starts. A GST invoice is available on request — ask for it when you place the order rather than after dispatch.
